The Alte Sententiam is Ravenclaw’s running newspaper and magazine. Alte Sententiam means ‘Higher Thoughts’ and its current editor-in-chief is Prof. Cassandra S. Lobiesk. The Alte is an affiliated site of the Roost and HOL – Hogwarts Virtual Online and is the work of its past and current members. The logo and layout was designed and manipulated by her Holy Egg Empress and Ravenclaw Deputy Head of House, Cassie.

All the articles remain factual and adhere to the ICRA “vocabulary”, however the content discussed in various reviews and other articles may slightly exceed a G-rating. For this reason, please keep in mind that while our suggested mentions of games, books, and movies are all G-rated, the games, movies, and books themselves may be higher in the ESRB, MPAA, and whathaveyou ratings.
