Pleated Christmas Hearts
Writing wasn't the only thing Hans Christian Andersen did though. He also made the world's first known pleated heart, something which has since become a staple on Danish Christmas trees. Traditionally pleated hearts would be filled with nuts and cookies and other edible things eaten on Christmas, but these days they are usually empty and simply meant for decoration.

Ancient Book of Jokes
The oldest existing collection of jokes is a book called Philogelos, which means "the laughter lover", and is believed to have been originally written in the fourth century AD in ancient Greece. To put that into perspective, that is around the same time The Bible was put into the form we know today, weeding out texts that were deemed uncanonical, while keeping the ones that were canonical kept a definitive order.

I'm a woman. I like men. I like fantasy role-playing games (RPGs). I like living vicariously through characters. Thus, I like Dragon Age. Unlike most RPGs, Dragon Age allows the playable character (PC) to romance one (or more, for a time) of the characters he or she interacts with, be they non-playable characters (NPCs), like Cullen Rutherford in Dragon Age: Inquisition, or playable characters (PCs), like Morrigan in Dragon Age: Origins.
