Game: Final Fantasy XIII-2
For many, Final Fantasy XIII was the black sheep of the series (excluding 14, that was more like the dead sheep of the family), and there were many reasons for this. Some were valid (linearity of the story), while others simply took some getting used to (the new battle system). However, after the players made a ruckus like none other, Square Enix attempted to fix those issues. And fix them they did...for the most part.

TV: Lost Girl
Lost Girl is categorized as a supernatural crime drama television series and it’s aired on Showcase starting September 2010. The story tells about the life of a succubus called Bo, who initially had no idea that she is, in fact, not human but a Fae. When she accidentally killed her boyfriend by draining his ‘chi’, she ran away from home, scared of the consequences of her actions and of herself.

Book: Insatiable
So, pardon the pun, but even the famous Princess Diaries writer Meg Cabot finally bit into the vampire craze. Of course, her book was meant to be some sort of a critical piece to all those other cliché vampire books, with the premise being more similar to the original scary story of Dracula by Bram Stoker, but I think eventually it all ended up the same way (although, I haven’t read the second and last book yet, so this may change).

What do you get when you mix Rachel McAdams, a case of memory loss, and all the makings of a heart-wrenching love story? No, it's not The Notebook, but rather, The Vow, a film about true love and what it takes to fall in love all over again.

Book: Mastiff
Mastiff was just such a great end to the trilogy, and perhaps the best I've read from the fabulous Tamora Pierce herself (and this is saying a lot, because I will never ever ever think something could surpass my absolute love for the Song of the Lioness Quartet). But yes, she has definitely outdone herself this time.

Book: Poison Study
Poison Study exceeded my expectations to the point where I read the book in two large gulps. It was like swallowing an entire sweetcake in two bites, included with guilty pleasure and joyasmic sighs.
